Typically offered on a Friday from 9 am to 6 pm
This is the combo course. Saturday Combat Pistol followed by Sunday Combat Rifle.
YOU the Shooter will Participate in the Following Tactical/Dynamic Shooting Skills:
Proper Range conduct and etiquette
- Safe weapons handling
- Standard malfunction protocol
- Grip and stance
- Visual Target Accommodation
- Drawing the Handgun
- Manipulation and Retention of the handgun and Carbine Rifle
- Proper Grip for Optimal Recoil Management
- Accuracy Drills
- Shooting from cover
- Multiple Target Engagement both on paper and steel targets
- Engaging targets at distances of 3-100 yards (Stationary and Moving Evolutions)
- Timed Shooting Drills (Stationary and Moving Evolutions)

SPECDIVE TACTICAL COMBAT SHOOTER EXPERIENCE CLASS REQUIREMENTS
PISTOL CLASS
- Reliable firearm Glock, Smith and Wesson M&P, Springfield XD style pistols (9mm or 40 Cal.)
- 3 Magazines hold at least 15 rounds per magazine)
- Holster (Safariland, GALCO etc. No Blackhawk style holsters allowed)
- Tactical battle belt or chest rig with Magazine pouch for 3 magazines
- 150-300 rounds of ammunition per shooter
RIFLE/CARBINE
- AR-15/M-4 style rifle or equivalent weapon system (SCAR, carbine style rifle etc.) equipped either with an optic and/or iron sights
- Tactical battle belt or chest rig with Magazine pouch for 3 magazines
- 3 Magazines (30 Rd capacity preferred)
- 300 MIN rounds of ammo per shooter (500 rds Recommended)
- No Steel Core Ammo Allowed
PERSONAL RECOMMENDED GEAR
- PROPER EYE AND EAR PROTECTION
- LONG SLEEVE SHIRT OR T-SHIRT NO V NECKS
- Long pants ONLY … NO shorts
- Good outdoor style shoes or boots
- Cold weather clothing highly recommended as well as rain outerwear
- Knee Pads highly suggested- area is gravel

Advanced Combat Shooter Course at Echo Valley Training Center
The pinnacle of combat training, the SpecDive Tactical Advanced Combat Shooter Training Course is unlike any other training available outside of SpecOps.
Note: You must have completed the basic combat course in order to take the advanced course.
Saturday (18 Hour day) there will be night fire on this day will not leave the range once we get there in the morning.
MEET AT THE HOTEL LOBBY at 0700-0715 to DRIVE TO EVTC
- Eval of prior skills
- Use of rifle and pistol (Primary and secondary)
- Team shooting and movements
- Vehicle operations and infiltration and exfill
- Mission planning
- Patrolling and tracking
- Nighttime familiarization shoot (NVG and laser)
Sunday 0730 LEAVE HOTEL
- Team Final Exam
- Mission planning and execution
- Shoot house fam

Required Equipment
- Chest rig battle belt
- Rifle (AR) (30 Rd mag)
- Sling
- Mag Pouch
- Min 3 mags
- Helmet (Can be rented from SDT) 50.00 weekend
- Body Armor (Can be rented from SDT) 100.00 weekend
- Pistol
- Holster
- Min 3 Mags Large capacity (15-17)
- Clothing for both day night and wet and cold weather
- Food, water (for an 18- hour day on Saturday)
- Eye and ear protection
- Paper pencil for notes and mission planning
- Min 1000 rds of rifle and 400-600 pistol – NO STEEL CORE AMMO
Recommended gear
- knee and elbow pads highly suggested as terrain in gravel
