YOU the Shooter will Participate in the Following Tactical/Dynamic Shooting Skills:

  • Proper Range conduct and etiquette
  • Safe firearm handling
  • Situational Awareness and Threat Identification
  • Tactical and Emergency Reloads
  • Emergency malfunction techniques
  • Multiple target engagements both on paper and steel targets
  • Drawing the Handgun from Outside The Waistband (OWB) and Concealed Carry
  • Shooting from the static position and while moving
  • Shooting from Retention
  • Proper Grip and Stance for Optimal Recoil Management
  • Accuracy and Timed Shooting Drills
  • Shooting from different levels of cover and concealment
  • Engaging targets at distances of 3-100 yards (Stationary and Moving Evolutions)
  • Proper set up and use of tactical gear and accessories brought by participant
  • Handgun Ballistics Demonstration
  • Shooting from a vehicle and extrication

ECHO VALLEY TRAINING CENTER, HIGH VIEW, WEST VIRGINIA
EVOLUTION TRAINING CENTERS DYNAMIC PISTOL SHOOTER REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Experience Level:
    • This course is designed the shooter with a basic experience and understanding of pistol shooting.
    • New shooters are more than welcome to join and will be assessed and provided pistol familiarization the first hour or two of the course, then re-integrated back into the class after the lunch break.
  2. Equipment: (Minimums, if you have questions about gear please contact us for clarification):
    • Reliable Pistol (Glock, M&P, H&K, Sig Sauer, style pistols (9mm, 40 S&W, .45 ACP)
    • Minimum of 3 Magazines that hold at least 15 rounds per magazine (more magazines will
      facilitate training and drills without the need to constantly be reloading on the firing line.)
    • Tactical / Pistol belt with:
      1. Holster (Preferably a Kydex style like Safariland, GALCO etc. No Blackhawk style holsters allowed)
      2. Pistol Magazine Carrier (Minimum of 1)
    • Ballistic Eye Protection and Ear Protection
    • Long pants ONLY (preferably tactical with cargo pockets) … NO Shorts
    • Long Sleeve Shirt or T-Shirt … No V Neck or deep V shirts (They collect hot brass!)
    • 500 – 700 rounds of ammunition per shooter (We encourage you to bring extra ammo to get the most out of your training).

PERSONAL RECOMMENDED GEAR:
Hat and Sunglasses
Cold weather clothing highly recommended as well as rain outerwear.

SpecDive Tactical is proud to offer another exclusive course to our shooting customers. Our Basic Precision Rifle Course is designed to familiarize you with your rifle and optic. The course focuses on the use of your precision rifle and understanding what it takes to operate it effectively under all environmental conditions with extreme accuracy out to 600 meters.

This is a two-day course comprising classroom and live fire modules with students getting individualized instruction.

Objective: to provide the student the knowledge and skill set to successfully hit targets out to the maximum effective range of their rifle.

The training regimen includes:

  • Fundamentals of marksmanship
  • Zeroing
  • Cold bore theory
  • Scope theory
  • Use of chronograph
  • Wind Estimation
  • Range estimation
  • Cleaning procedures

Calibers Restrictions: .260 to .338

Class will be 8 hours per day.

Cost for the two day course will be $750.00 per person.

These two full days of training is designed to teach you to work with your precision rifle confidently to get you on target every time.

Students that complete the course will have a high level of proficiency in rifle safety, marksmanship fundamentals, a working knowledge of their personal capabilities with their equipment as well as systematic training methods for future progression.

PISTOL CLASS

  • Reliable firearm Glock, Smith and Wesson M&P, Springfield XD style pistols (9mm or 40 Cal.)
  • 3 Magazines hold at least 15 rounds per magazine)  
  • Holster (Safariland, GALCO etc. No Blackhawk style holsters allowed)
  • Tactical battle belt or chest rig with Magazine pouch for 3 magazines
  • 150-300 rounds of ammunition per shooter

RIFLE/CARBINE

  • AR-15/M-4 style rifle or equivalent weapon system (SCAR, carbine style rifle etc.) equipped either with an optic and/or iron sights
  • Tactical battle belt or chest rig with Magazine pouch for 3 magazines
  • 3 Magazines (30 Rd capacity preferred)
  • 300 MIN rounds of ammo per shooter (500 rds Recommended)
  • No Steel Core Ammo Allowed

PERSONAL RECOMMENDED GEAR

  • PROPER EYE AND EAR PROTECTION
  • LONG SLEEVE SHIRT OR T-SHIRT NO V NECKS
  • Long pants ONLY … NO shorts

**PREREQUISITE: Basic Precision Rifle Level 1 Course**

SDT is proud to offer another exclusive course to our shooting customers. Our Advanced Precision Rifle Course is designed to build on the previously attended Precision Rifle Course Level 1. The course focuses on the use of your precision rifle from alternate positions while engaging multiple targets. This course will also further develop the use of using a ballistic solver.

The training regimen includes:

  • Fundamentals of marksmanship and zeroing recap
  • Use of chronograph recap
  • Wind estimation
  • Range estimation
  • Alternate positions
  • Multiple target engagements
  • Use of a Ballistic Solver (Kestrel)
  • Use of a Weather Meter

Class will be 8 hours per day

Cost for the two-day course will be $750.00 per person

Advanced Combat Shooter Course at Echo Valley Training Center

The pinnacle of combat training, the SpecDive Tactical Advanced Combat Shooter Training Course is unlike any other training available outside of SpecOps.

Note: You must have completed the basic combat course in order to take the advanced course.

Saturday (18 Hour day) there will be night fire on this day will not leave the range once we get there in the morning. 

MEET AT THE HOTEL LOBBY at 0700-0715 to DRIVE TO EVTC
